Meet Nadia
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF MUSIC & STORY PLAY
An early years music and literacy educator (with over
25 years experience), a published picture book author and
award-winning children's songwriter, Nadia Sunde is also one of Queensland’s most celebrated and beloved children’s
theatre writers and performers.

The 'idea seed' for Music & Story Play was planted during
her university studies as she became aware of how many of her cohort were feeling overwhelmed by the idea of planning for and leading music and dramatic play learning experiences.
​
Nadia believes that music and story are among the most
powerful and loving ways we can support a child's language
and literacy development, as well as nurture the
bonds between adult and child.
​
Nadia is passionate about providing Early Years Professionals with the practical tools, skills, confidence and inspiration to
bring their own music and socio-dramatic play curriculum
to life in big-hearted and dynamic ways!
